LocalGateKeys Terms of Sale
Effective date: 19 October 2026
These terms apply when you buy LocalGateKeys Pro. The software itself is licensed to you under the End User Licence Agreement.
1. Who sells to you
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle, which is the merchant of record for all our orders. Paddle sells the licence to you, takes payment, handles tax, provides receipts and invoices and handles payment-related customer service and returns. Its buyer terms (https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms) apply to the purchase.
Ilias Pelekas, 05-300 Mińsk Mazowiecki, Poland ("we", "us") is the developer and licensor of LocalGateKeys and issues the Licence File.
2. What you buy
2.1 Pro licence. A one-time purchase of a perpetual licence to use LocalGateKeys Pro, which removes the 4-item limit of the free edition, as described in the End User Licence Agreement, including all future updates at no extra charge.
2.2 Not a subscription. The purchase never renews or charges you again.
2.3 Free edition. The free edition has every feature, for up to 4 items, so you can check that LocalGateKeys works on your PCs, with your network and with your apps before buying. Pro adds no other features.
3. Price and tax
3.1 The price of Pro is US$4.99, as shown on our website at the time of purchase. Paddle may show it in your local currency.
3.2 Paddle calculates VAT, GST or sales tax according to your location and shows the total before you pay.
3.3 Price changes do not affect purchases already made.
4. Payment
Payment is taken by Paddle using the methods it offers at checkout. We never receive your card or bank details.
5. Delivery
5.1 After your payment is confirmed, you are taken to a page that shows your licence key and a licence file to download, usually within a minute. Paddle emails you the receipt. If the page does not show your licence within 10 minutes, contact us with your order number.
5.2 The licence is digital content supplied immediately. There is no physical delivery.
5.3 If you lose the Licence File, we will resend it; see the licence page on our website.
6. Your right to cancel
6.1 30-day refund. You may get a full refund for any reason within 30 days of purchase, as described in our refund policy.
6.2 Statutory withdrawal right. If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract. Because the Licence File is delivered immediately, at checkout you are asked to agree to immediate delivery and to acknowledge that you lose this statutory right once delivery begins. Our 30-day refund policy applies regardless, and is longer.
6.3 Faulty digital content. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights if the software is faulty or not as described.
7. Chargebacks and fraud
If a payment is charged back or found to be fraudulent, the Licence File is revoked as described in the End User Licence Agreement. Revocation brings back the 4-item limit; it never deletes or locks your vault, and existing items stay usable.
8. Business customers
Paddle issues invoices that show your business details and VAT ID where you provide them. A Pro licence is for one person; buy one licence for each person in your organisation who uses Pro.
9. Liability
Our liability in connection with a purchase is limited as set out in section 12 of the End User Licence Agreement. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Governing law and complaints
These terms are governed by the laws of Poland and, where applicable, European Union law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence. For a complaint, email support@localgatekeys.app; we aim to reply within 5 working days. Payment complaints may also be raised with Paddle.
